Love is life, life is love

By Tafadzwa Hove

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

Nothing would please God more than showing love to those who are sick and in need, especially to strangers. Obeying God’s commands (loving our neighbors as ourselves, loving one another) is the only way to show that we love Him.

We should always aim to seek out those languishing on sickbeds and not only show love to them through giving but also to nurture genuine friendship with them.

There is need to demonstrate love for God, which requires us to help those in need at all times, whether or not we know them.

  1. Interestingly enough I’ve seen the word love throughout the course of this week on wall arts and even on the Bible App. I strongly believe that the Lord is reminding His children of His love and how we must also be able to demonstrate what we have tasted unto those around us too. Jesus is the epitome of love.
