By Tafadzwa Hove

The leader of Divine Kingdom TV prophecies has released a frightening prophecy on his YouTube channel where he said he had a vision of a famous footballer dying.

He said there was need to pray for footballers especially the prominent ones. The reason being because he saw in a vision a footballer with a surname which can be a woman’s first name and this surname which has got a woman’s first name has got a biblical meaning or origin.

He also said that, “the spirit of God says we need to pray and watch for this particular footballer. This particular footballer i saw him playing in Europe. In one of the most glamorous cities in Europe. There’s a threat of untimely death. Pray because God has got a plan for his life but the enemy wants to steal his life. The enemy wants to kill him prematurely. He’s still alive. He’s originally from one of the Latin American countries.”

People are still in confusion as to was being referred to by Pastor Ian Ndlovhu. Guesses on YouTube comments were quick to point Angel Di Maria who plays for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Lionel Messi who’s a Barcelona forward. Both Di Maria and Messi are from Argentina.

Love your neighbour as yourself

By Tafadzwa Hove

If i speak in the tongues of men and angels but i do not have love, i am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1

Love is the greatest of them all. God is love-so we as Christians ought to love our neighbours as ourselves, because before we loved God, He first loved us.

If i speak in tongues without loving my neighbours as God commanded me to, it is good as wasting my time. You cannot love God first without loving your neighbour. How can you love God whom you have not seen, while despising your neighbour whom you know?

Your neighbour could be your enemy or those who do not share the same faith with you. Love them unconditionally! There’s no perfect men on earth. Think about this! Love does not allow us to kill our neighbours or our enemies. Hatred will never overcome love.

*Love is kind

*Love is patient

*Love rejoices when others do well

*Love is not jealous

*Love never gives up, never loses hope and is always hopeful

The future looks bright for women’s football

By Tafadzwa Hove

The future for women’s football definitely looks bright and promising, taking a closer look at how the current ongoing women’s world cup is viewed. It has taken such a long time for people finally appreciate women’s football as compared to men’s.

The quarter final game between France and the United States of America (USA) was fully packed to capacity, and the defeaning yells of, ‘ALLEZ LES BLEUS’ and, ‘USA’, could be heard in the stadium. It seemed as if there was no big difference at all compared to men’s. In the past, it was difficult for women’s stadiums to be full as it is in today’s now modern age.

In reality women’s soccer has entered into the new stage, as FIFA says the competition is supposed to reach a total of 1 billion viewers across all platforms worldwide. FIFA also reports that the England – USA game attracted viewers of approximately 8.8 million people.

However, there are still visible imbalances between women and men in terms of the money they get at the World Cup tournament. The winners of the 2019 women’s world cup will win US$4 million, while the winners of the 2018 men’s world cup – France scooped up US$38 million. That’s almost 10 times the amount given to men compared to women who are doing precisely the same job.

God’s time is always the best

By Tafadzwa Hove

When the time is right, I, the Lord will make it right. Isaiah 60.22

When it is not yet God’s time…you cannot force it to happen. When it is God’s time also no one will ever stop it. God’s time is always the best…. He answers our every prayer according to His own time… Not on our own schedule.

Everything that has to do with Him is fixed… there’s a time to be born and a time to die. There’s a time for everything. Ask God to give you the grace to wait patiently for His time without getting tired… because when He does, everything seems beautiful. Everything is wonderful at His time. He’s never late or too early.

When you receive something at God’s time, it lasts forever.!

Many rushed and missed their destinies because of not waiting for God time.

Therefore, trust in the process.

More international misery for Messi

By Tafadzwa

Argentina and Barcelona FC forward ‘s dreams of holding an international trophy came to an end after Argentina were thrashed 2-0 by Brazil in the Copa America competition.

The win has made a way for Brazil to qualify for their first Copa America final since they last won it in 2007. At the same time, Argentina ‘s hopes of going into the finals were shattered as they have waited since 1993 to win silverware.

Goals which came from Gabriel Jesus ‘ 19 and Roberto Firmino ‘ 71 eliminated Brazil from the competition.

However, looking closely at statistics, Messi really played brilliantly even though his side failed to win anything in the 2019 Copa America competition . Messi created a lot of chances, hit the ball off post, with little help from his teammates.

Lionel Messi for Argentina at the Copa America 2019

*Most take-ons completed (20)

*Most shots (16)

*Most fouls won (15)

*Most chances created (9)

The Barcelona star may be one of the greatest footballers who has never managed to get hold of his first trophy with Argentina after 9 times of trying, but all in vain.

Brazil are either facing Chile or Peru on Sunday, who are yet to play together.
