Brilliant black teen accepted into 65 universities in the US

A black teenager, identified as Taran Richardson has been accepted into 65 universities in the United States of America after graduating from High School.

The young athlete and salutatorian has settled on Howard University where he will be studying astrophysics, Tafadzwaprivyblog.wordpress.com has learned.

“I wanted to have that good stress, having too many options rather than losing the option I wanted the most and not knowing where I wanted to go next,” Richardson said.

While in high school, he enjoyed participating in extracurricular activities as an Eagle Scout and also an advocate against gun violence. He did that while working a job as well.

Ghanaian woman makes history as she completes neurology residency

A Ghanaian woman identified as Dr Denise.A Asafo-Adjei has made Ghana and Africa as well proud as she became the first black woman to complete a residency in neurology at Columbia University.

The woman announced this relatively rare and difficult accomplishment on Instagram.

She wrote, “I am super proud to be the first black woman to complete Residency in Urology at Columbia University.”

No black woman has ever completed residency at Columbia University until now.

The smart Ghanaian doctor gave thanks to God, parents, siblings, family, friends, mentors, sponsors and her boyfriend .

“It truly takes a village to raise a doctor, “, she further said.

She also shared that she was excited to start her first day of fellowship the next coming day at UCLA in Andrology (Sexual Dysfunction and Male Infertility)

98 year old great-grandmother graduates from high school

In an amazing story, a 98 year old woman known as Vivian Fisher has graduated from high school. Fisher has earned her certification at Monrovia School in California, USA.

According to reports from Black News Fisher received her diploma alongside her great-grandnephew, Elijah Vance, in a drive-thru ceremony.

Fisher wasn’t able to graduate high school in her youth because she worked multiple jobs to support her family.

Irrespective of the setbacks, she never gave up on her dream to graduate from high school.

Principal of Monrovia High School, Kirk McGinnis, told KABC that their 2020-year ”graduation ceremony would go down as one of the most unique and exceptional graduations that this school has had.”

Fisher’s achievement adds to her family’s line of accomplishments.

According to Black News, her father was the first Black graduate of Monrovia High School and the first Black police officer in Monrovia.

17 year old boy receives Master’s degree

At just 17 years old, Carson Huey-You has received a Master’s Degree at Texas Christian University where he studied for both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

A report sighted by tafadzwaprivyblog.wordpress.com on YEN.com.gh on Fox4News.com indicates that the smart boy was able to attain the feat after he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree at the young age of 14.

This was possible because the young boy was homeschooled and left high school at the age of eight after which he sat for examinations at the age of 10 and finished with flying colours.

Following that, Carson Huey-You gained admission to study Physics, a programme that requires extreme focus and intelligence at age 11 which he pursued successfully. Huey-You was doing algebra by the age of 5, according to his parents and when he was 10, he scored a near-perfect 1,770 on the popular SAT exams.

Speaking about his life and promising success, the 17-year-old genius indicates that he is actually a normal young chap like anyone else who does what teenagers do in their free time.

“Outside of just school and academia, I’m really just a normal 17-year-old kid. I like playing video games, I have a dog, I have my brother at home, so, we have fun,” Huey-You said.
