TB Joshua offers advice to Messi

Renowned televangelist, Prophet TB Joshua has offered advice to Barcelona and Argentina footballer Lionel Messi after the ace threatened to leave Barcelona.

This comes after Messi failed to win the Champions league five times in a row. Barcelona have last won the Champions league in 2015.

Messi’s future at the Camp Nou has been at the centre of intense discussion  after Barcelona Barcelona were humiliated 8-2 in the Champions League by Bayern Munich.

TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) which is located in Lagos Nigeria posted the message of advice through the church’s Facebook page.

He said, “MY CANDID ADVICE TO MESSI-TB JOSHUA. It is not good advice for Lionel Messi to leave Barcelona bitter and offended. It is impossible to establish a healthy relationship with a person who left a previous relationship bitter and offended.”

He further said, “This is my candid advice to Messi. History is our boss,”the statement concluded.

Usain Bolt tests positive for covid-19

Jamaican athlete, Usain Bolt has tested positive for covid-19 after attending a birthday party. He celebrated his 34th birthday in his native, Jamaica with a party.

Bolt hosted other sports stars including Raheem Sterling of Manchester City, Leon Bailey as well as other stars.

Nationwide90FM reports that the 100 and 200 – metre world record holder will now be in self-isolation as a result of contracting the deadly virus.

Xhaka named permanent Arsenal captain

Midfielder for Arsenal FC and Switzerland national team, Granit Xhaka has been named as permanent Arsenal Captain. Arsenal Boss Unai Emery has made Xhaka the permanent captain as per reports.The Swiss International haa replaced Laurent Koscienly who left Arsenal for Bourdeaux in the summer

Xhaka has skippered for Arsenal in every game so far this season.Emery consulted the players before relaying final decision to the squad this morning.

However, the Vice captain position has not yet been finalised and Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang and Alexandre Lacazzete are likely to be selected.

Liverpool ‘s Virgil Van Dijk beats Messi and Ronaldo for the UEFA player of the year award

Liverpool and Netherlands ‘s centre back Virgil Van Dijk has beaten Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the UEFA player of the year award. The Dutchman has been spectacular throughout the 2018-19 premier league season and also the Champions league.

Van Dijk has also won the UEFA Defender of the 2018-19 season.

Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi has bagged in the Champions League Forward of the season while at the same time Ajax and Netherlands Frenkie De Jong has won the Champion League Midfielder of the season.

At the women’s side, England and Lyon ‘s forward Lucy Bronze has scooped the Champions League UEFA player of the year. Bronze performed tremendously by winning treble with Lyon, reached the World Cup semifinals with England and was the silver ball winner at the women’s world cup.
