Your Condition Is Not Permanent

By Tafadzwa Hove
When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” John 11:4

Your situation as a child of God will not last forever. Your situation is not permanent. God did not promise to keep us away from trouble but he promised to see us through when we encounter problems. God will not allow our situation to devour us.

That sickness you are facing right now is not unto death. Be it chronic headaches, fibroids, cancer, high blood pressure, sugar diabetes, AIDS, Coronavirus. You name them.

Declare today and tell that sickness, “You sickness, I will not die because of you. My sickness is for the glory of God.

Your sickness is for the glory of God.

In truth, every problem you are facing today will not last forever. Be it career failure, marital crisis, marital failure, hardship, poverty, lack, rejection, isolation

Every problem you are facing right now has a purpose. It is for the glory of God.

Declare this right now and speak life over every situation you are encountering.

Jesus Christ spoke life over Lazarus who had died and was in the grave for 4 days. After life he spoke life over that sickness and death, Lazarus rose again for the glory of God. The Son was also glorified through it.

Jesus Christ himself said it, so you don’t have to worry yourself because His Word is life itself. His Word doesn’t lie. It is pure and therefore very sure.

Pray Earnestly

By Tafadzwa Hove

James 5:17, NIV: “Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.”

Elijah was a man like us subject to passion, similar challenges as we are but he prayed earnestly that it might not rain for three years and six months and it did not rain.

Listen right wherever you are. The greatest problem we have in Christianity is spiritual slumber. There are many who think that change comes automatically.

Elijah was human. He was flesh and blood just like you and I. He had challenges of the flesh. Challenges of sleep, challenges of distractions but he prayed.

Today, we have too much excuses, too much weaknesses, giving strength to the flesh, eating and drinking, too much complaining and worrying instead of arising in prayer.

Elijah chose to pray. Despite the limitations of the flesh Elijah said, “I WILL SHUT UP THE HEAVENS THROUGH PRAYER.” For three years and six months, heaven was shut up. Not by anyone but by Elijah.

Choose this day to be like Elijah. Just as Elijah shut up heaven, begin to shut up poverty, career failure, stagnation, limitation in progress, generational curses, ancestral curses, hardship and failure in your family by the power of prayer and faith . Shut up stagnation, marital failure, sickness, disease, rejection, isolation in Jesus mighty name.

Awake Awake Awake. The key is in your hands to turn things around just as Elijah did.

Command Calmness

By Tafadzwa Hove
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Mark 4:39

Jesus Christ commanded the storm and it ceased down. It was completely calm.

There are many storms which might be rocking your life right now. Storms of sickness, disease, career failure, untimely death, rejection, isolation, depression only to mention a few.

Command calmness in every area of your life right now. Say, “Be still.” God is in control.

Whatever commotion that may seem to rise against you, know that Jesus is there to bring calmness and order.

UNDERSTANDING SCRIPTURES

By Tafadzwa Hove

Matthew 22:29

Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God”

The cause of so many errors and mistakes in our lives is as a result of not knowing the Scriptures. We don’t even apply them in our lives. And the most unfortunate scenario is that we do not know the power of God.

We have refused knowledge and a lot of us are perishing because of ignorance.

What you do not know lands you into trouble. When you don’t know how to use a gas cooker, if you try touching it, you will get burnt. Or if you have it but don’t know how to use it then it is of no help to you.

Whatever it is that is making you resist knowledge, drop it right now for your own good. Being allergic to knowing the truth is to your own disadvantage.

This is the time you have to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you overcome every hindrance and obstacle you have put over yourself by resisting and rejecting knowledge.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you seek knowledge by all means.
Ask the Holy Spirit to increase your desire to know the Scriptures.

You are always defeated because you do not know the Scriptures and the power of God.

PRAY.

Your background doesn’t matter

By Tafadzwa Hove

“Nazareth! Can anything good come from there? “Nathanael asked,” Come and see, said Phillip.John 1:46

They were referring to Jesus Christ, the son of God. They couldn’t believe that something good could come from a place as Nazareth. It could have been due to the the fact that Nazareth was an inferior place. It was not superior. Nazareth was a very small community, with probably less than 500 people during Jesus’ lifetime. Being so small, and not close to major cities, it was the last place one would expect anything interesting to happen. A place that Nathanael could hardly think that any sort of good thing, even any worldly good thing, could come from there. He thought no good man could arise from there; and still less, any prophet, any person of great significance ; and still least of all, that the Messiah, should spring from there.

But there He was, Jesus Christ performing all wonders, doing great things that were never imagined of emanating from Nazareth . His background did not limit him.

Are you feeling discouraged because of your background? Where you are coming from?Have you lost confidence? Remember God can use you to execute great things in life . Do not look down upon yourself because of where you are coming from. God has a great plan for your life.

God the compassionate father

By Tafadzwa Hove

Isaiah, “For a brief moment i abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back.”

No condition is permanent. That situation you are facing as a Christian is not meant to destroy you ;it may be there to strengthen your relationship with God or to prepare you for a new level in life.

He is a merciful Father, He will not let your challenges devour you but in time He will have mercy on you.

In mercy, He has called us and healed us. In mercy, He has called us and delivered us. In mercy, He has called us and blessed us. In mercy, we are not excluded.

Battling evil powers

By Tafadzwa Hove

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

We are not fighting against our physical brothers or sisters. Fighting people when you encounter problems is a wrong battle. This scripture tells us that there are evil powers behind your sicknesses and diseases, financial struggles, unemployment, failure, hardship, stagnation only to mention a few. These evil powers are the ones controlling all aspects of your life. They are saying as long as I live, this and that will never happen to him or her. That is why you are never making it in life.

This is the time to wage war against them as cautioned by the Word of God. You have the power and authority to do so. No powers are greater than God. No demons or evil spirits are greater than God. No spiritual wickedness is bigger than God. No principalities are above God. They will all bow at the mention of the name Jesus.

Arise, wage war and never give up in Jesus name.

Fear Not

By Tafadzwa Hove

The Lord is is my light and my salvation, who shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? Psalms 27:1

Do you live in fear? What are you afraid of?

Fear is a destructive tool of Satan that has robbed millions of a victorious life in Christ Jesus. Fear causes your hope to shrivel and die. Fear prevents us from reaching our full potential.

Millions in the world have surrendered to their fears while their hearts dream of a miracle. What a pleasant picture of life God has given us- many promises of miracles and supernatural blessings but they are giants that needs conquering. Fear is one of them.

Are you acting on what He promised or else you are letting fear distract/hinder you? We all have the potential that God gave us.

As Christians, we say we are praying yet fear is still within us and prayer is about the heart and spirit. Neighbour, you say you are praying but fear is still within you. You fight on the outside but in the inside you are filled with fear, panic and anxiety. When trouble comes you say where is my faith, where is my God and you begin to look at God in a bad light.

Fear is a more deceptive enemy than Satan himself. The Holy Spirit is an enemy of fear. So choose wisely today. Between fear and faith, which one do you belong to? When you choose fear, the Holy Spirit becomes your enemy, and when you choose faith the Holy Spirit becomes your friend.

Many fears exist in our lives – fear of loss, sickness, rejection, isolation, poverty but you have a Friend, the Comforter who is the Holy Spirit and He has defeated fear for you. Always remember that the Holy Spirit can eliminate all fears of man.

Don’t let fear hold you down. Jesus Christ said I pray your faith will not fail meaning He doesn’t want fear to ruin you, He doesn’t want fear to control you.

Prayer

By Tafadzwa Hove

Pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17

We should engage our hearts by constantly praying. Prayer should be a thing of the heart.

Prayer is a way of life. Live your life on your knees. We should see prayer as the standard for life. That is the reason we have certain occasions for prayer.

To live without prayer is the quickest way of throwing one’s soul away. Pray constantly and pray without ceasing.

Praying at all times without a break is the armor we are to put on. Therefore prayer is the great essential. It is certainly not optional ;it is fundamental.

A New Thing

By Tafadzwa Hove

Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth;shall you not know it? I will even make a way into the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19

Who doesn’t like to experience something new?

Our God is a good, good Father. He stays true to His Word. He promised that He will do something new to us and we shall know it. He will make a way in the wilderness. He gives us hope in a hopeless situation. Your wilderness could be poverty, sickness, limitation, stagnation, failure etc. Your desert could be the same.

He promised us that He will make everything right. He fulfills His Word. His Word can never go back to Him void/empty. All you need to do is to believe what He says in His Word.
